Access to OSCAR

Access to OSCAR for council users is managed by the Department of Health’s User Onboarding Portal (DUOP).

DUOP Is a self service portal, allowing new users to request access to the OSCAR system through provision of their council email address and organisation details.

Production

New users to OSCAR should access https://myapps.forms.health.vic.gov.au/ to commence the onboarding process.

When completing the Application Access section, you need to select the following:

  • Application: FoodTrader OSCAR
  • Environment: Production
  • Role: Council Officer or Council Admin

Once access has been granted, OSCAR can be opened at https://oscar.foodtrader.vic.gov.au/. Save this address to your browser favourites.

Training

New users to OSCAR training environment should access https://u-ause-wa-duop.azurewebsites.net/ to register.

The process is the same as in production however, under the Application Access section you need to select the following:

  • Application: FoodTrader OSCAR
  • Environment: Training
  • Role: Council Officer or Council Admin

Once access has been granted, you can access the OSCAR system at https://tr-ause-wa-ists.azurewebsites.net/ and the FoodTrader portal at https://tr-ause-wa-ists-busportal.azurewebsites.net/. Save this address to your browser favourites.

User permission types

There are two user permission types to select from:

Council Officer: provides access to the following menu items – Workspace, Transactions, Renewals and Fees.

Council Admin: provides access to update the proprietor’s login email address, and access to all menu items, including the Configuration section.

To change your user permission type:

  • Sign in to DUOP
  • Under Current Application Access, select ‘Delete’ to remove your current permission type

  • You can now request a new permission type by selecting ‘+Add’
  • Complete the mandatory fields (Application, Environment, Role and Reason for requesting access) and select ‘Save’

  • A pop-up will display advising that your request has been registered and is awaiting approval.
